A book that I really enjoyed reading was The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards. It was one of those novels that kept me up too late; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

His son, born first, is perfectly healthy, but the doctor immediately recognizes that his daughter has Down syndrome. Instead, she disappears into another city to raise the child as her own. So read the book, tune into the movie and enjoy a great story.
