Elly is home!

We got home from the hospital today just after lunch. I stayed with her last night and was concernced when early this morning she was still not drinking anything. However, things came around quite nicely. When the pain medications are working she is eating, drinking and playing some. When they are not working she is not the happiest camper, poor honey. We are giving her tylenol with codeine every 4 hours and it seems to help for about 2 hours! We were told to stay on top of things and give her the tylenol round the clock for the first few days to stay on top of the pain. We got a tip from a friend at T21 online and purchased some tylenol suppositories. We are hoping that they will be great to use at night and during those times when she just won’t swallow. Here are a couple of pictures from the past few days.

Lastly here is a photo of the chicken pox vaccine reaction that almost postponed the procedure a few more weeks. This was the day that they looked the worst.  We are so thankful to have this behind us.  Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.
