Today I am sharing a recipe for halibut from our friend Elizabeth. We had it at her house after her family had been to Alaska and brought back some fresh halibut. We loved it. Enjoy!

 

Cheddar/Chili Halibut Bake

Equal parts mayonaise and cheddar cheese mixed together (3 cups each is a good estimate). Spread on top of halibut. You want a thick layer (1/4 to 1/2 inch) on top of the fish.

I can chopped/drained green chilis spread on top of mayo/cheese mixture.

Bake @ 350 until done. Start checking your fish after 15 minutes. This dish always cooks faster than I think it should.   (We’ve also tried it on Cod)
