This weeks Photo Hunters theme is antique. I chose to photograph a picture of a mirror that my mom and dad received for a wedding gift in 1944. The mirror was a gift from my aunt Alvina. I have had the mirror in my home now for about 15 years and I just love it. I thought it would be fun to have my mom in the picture too! Greg and I really enjoy antiques quite a bit. I probably could have taken a picture of something that was actually older than the mirror, but this mirror is one of the most special antiques to me. By the way, I am certainly not calling my mom an antique !!!

Today I am sharing a recipe for our family’s favorite Fettuccini Alfredo sauce. My kids just love it, Enjoy!

Fettuccini Alfredo

8 oz. cream cheese

¾ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

½ cup margarine

1 ½ cups milk

Slowly cook over low heat. Serve over fettuccini noodles. For variety you can many different things to this sauce: broccoli, shrimp, chicken, ham, etc.
