In preparation for the upcoming Feb. 4th Super Bowl XLI, Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts, Overwhelmed with Joy’s Favorite Ingredients Friday recipe exchange is having a Super Bowl Sunday theme for the next two weeks. Check out the links to get lots of fun party recipes!

The recipe I am going to share is a real favorite at our house. Of course, you have to like green olives!!

Olive Cheese Ball

  1. 8 oz. cream cheese
  2.  1/2 c. mayo/miracle whip
  3. 1 1/2 chopped green olives (or 8-10 oz. chopped olives)
  4. 2 Tblsp. olive juice
  5. 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  6. fresh ground black pepper

Mix together and form into ball, refrigerate. Serve with crackers or baby rye slices.

I’m not a big fan of olives, but hubby would love this recipe.
